BIOGRAPHY
“Boma Joe-Jim” was born on November 20th, 1976, Boma is a seasoned wood carver hailing from Degema local government in Rivers State, Nigeria. He is a member of the Universal Studios of Art, National Theatre Iganmu, Lagos, Nigeria. Boma's mentorship was under the late legend of art Bisi Fakeye, and his vision statement is to be " an exemplary status to inspire generations of artists and enthusiasts". Boma's dedication to art gained attention home and abroad. His publications and interviews: The Sun Newspaper, 2004, Nigeria Compass 2008, The Guardian Newspaper 2014, and The Nation Newspaper 2017 and 18th February 2024.

He has solo and joint exhibitions, showcasing his works; "Stepping into Universal Studios" 2009, "Nugget" 2014, "Sogal Art Auction" 2014, "The prestigious Bonhams, London New-bond Street Auction" (February 2017), "October Rain" 2019, and "Different Shades of Ebony" (Oct.3rd - Nov.13th, 2022), Melance In Bloom #4, sept 23.
Boma Joe-Jim is member of the Society of Nigerian Artists, Lagos State Chapter.
